A VM26 Mikuni would be a nice fit.

PE24 is dead on. these motors run top if you dont over carb them.
throttle respose is amazing

Go here planetminis.com and look what everyone else is running with these 150's and above. It'll run with a 24mm carb but that's for a smaller motor. Trust me, a VM26 Mikuni is what the majority of peeps are running on 125's and above and there even some running 28mm's on the 150's. If you get the 24mm and upgrade the motor later with a bigbore that 24 is gonna be too small :ermm: .

we have been running the vm26 for 2 years aroudn here. and love them. tried the 28 but got better results and bottome end punch with the 26. the 28 did seem to work a little better when we ran them in motard form on pavement and go kart tracks wide open

we have had good luck with VM26
and im getting VM24 in very soon

we got some VM20 in now for smaller builds
