400EX rebuild question

I'm in the process of rebuilding my son's 99 400ex. I'm replacing the stock piston with a Wiseco piston. When I pulled off the original piston, I noted the orientation of the piston. Comparing the OEM to the Wiseco I think the direction is different. The OEM had the markings KCY on the exhaust side, but on the Wiseco piston, I assume the arrow is to go towards the exhaust side of the engine. I just want to make sure I'm correct before I put the engine back together.

yes you are correct im doing mine at the moment to but i went with a je piston 416 kit instead instead way cheaper and better

Thanks for the reply. I've been using Wiseco pistons for many years in my 2 stroke bikes, so I decided ti stick a product I'm comfortable with.
