honestly. I dont find putting exhaust on these makes a real difference. I rode a stock one vs mine and it didnt fell really any different. If there is a difference we are talking a fraction of a hp maybe 1 on dyno, nothing to really tell. Im not trying to get the pipe out of you just telling you the truth. Its not like on a 2 stroke, the exhaust can make the biggest difference in the world on them, these are more for the sound IMO. Kinda like a car

Stay stock till you can do all your mods at the same time. When you mod you get a small increase in power and just one or two mods won’t make much deference. But you add them all up and yes you can get a real increase in power that you can really feel.
If you only go from 25 hp stock to 26 too 27 with just a pipe then you won’t feel like you did anything. But do them all and go from 25 hp too 40 and now you’re talking.

a pipe, air filter, no lid on your air box, with proper jetting will make a NOTICEABLE power increase and it will deff feel better. I switched from a FMF pipe to my White Bros. and it woke my bike up like you wouldnt believe. Throttle Response improved ten fold.

what they heck are you first two guys talking about my buddy had a stock 400ex and mine had a full yoshimura ,jet kit k&N and they felt like they were two different bikes
