I wouldnt put 22 inch mud tires on your 400...there gonna be really heavy.. I have been reseaching this alot lately because i am looking for the same thing...Why dont you check out the 20 x 12 x 9 ITP Blackwaters. Then put a 14 tooth sprocket on to make up for the power loss...Just my 2 cents. And those ITP's are alot like those mud terrians

i thought gators smallest size was 25"
my 400ex has 22" blackwaters on the rear and it pulls them like nothin, my recon did ok with them to, blackwaters are pretty nice and they slide to but still work good in mud and rocks
yes they are on the heavy side but nothin to really worry about

22" is the smallest in a Gator and there one of the lightest mud tires

What about Mud Sharks? They come in 20's or 21's. They look like they'd be pretty good in mud. :D

i got a set of mudsharks in 21 12 10s and on the 400ex if you can keep the weight on the back end you will have a hard time gettin stuck(not counting Ruts). but they are heavy.
