Thinking of moving up to a 400ex

I currently have a 300ex with full exhaust, jet kit, and intake. 1 tooth down front sprocket. I am looking for more power but I want to know before I get a 400ex how much more power do they have? Im sure some of you have had a 300ex before your 400ex. Is it worth stepping up or should I just get a LTZ400 or TRX450 or something along those lines? Also size wise how much more roomy is the 400ex over the 300? Im 6'1 225lbs.

400 is alot more roomy then a 300 and it feels like the 300 a bit but with a ton more power and it wheelies alot easier than a 300 to. i never owned a 300 myself but my close friend has a 07 300 and when i first rode my 400 (which i bought after ridin a 300 was twice as fast). plus imo the 400ex is the best sport quad all around ever made.

The 400ex are fun. Im 6 foot 220lbs and fit alright on it. If I were you Id go with a 400ex or ltz400. There both great quads, but the Z is a little quicker, more comfortable, and a little better suspension setup.

I am 6,3" 270, i love my 400, the suspention needs an upgrade tho. I put a set of 450r shocks on it so much better. I need to do something about the rear but not sure what to do. My buddy has a 400z, its a nice quad, faster than mine stock. but not as torque IMO. i like both quads, but mine is an 07 and his is. Over the summer my quad was on the stand once to change the break pads. his was up 3-4 times. Good luck in choosing.

Yeah Im thinking about buying Razr's for the rear. I think there cheap for 62 bux at motosport.
