I saw the W-Tec years back..... Actually examined one in person a few years back.

Very strange machine.... interesting for sure though.

the ktm is a bike built into a quad that happens quite often in europe.... the eraser has a front suspension design honda abandoned in the mid 80s for the a arm setup

thing is hondas looks to be a better design the pivot is at the front of the machine instead of the middle , im sure the eraser handles like ****... i think those things came about due to a lack of raceable quads in the 90s and early 00s in europe

Better design... Maybe, but still handled horribly. The one thing that I can give those fourtraxes though is they're tough. Both of mine still run great. My 86 has been drown out so many times it ain't even funny. Of course, this was back when I was just a youngin who didn't know anymore than creek riding and muddin.

The W-tec s a chassis that was introduced out of the Netherlands and you could choose the powerplant you wanted wether it was a KTM or a Huesaberg or....

I was given one to race in the WORCS series and it was a real treat. It has leading arms in the front that pivot from the footpegs going forward. The advantage was when the suspension compressed the camber/caster did not change.
The swingarm was a hoop and carried the hollow axle about 4" from the hubs and had two rear shocks.

The quad was a little bit of a handfull at slow speeds with my small frame (5'7" 150#) but the wide open stuff is where that things loves to run.

I'd forgotten that you had raced one once before, Shelman. Now that I think back, what race was it? Be a funny coincidence for it to be the one I examined way back, before our paths crossed.

By the way... I'm sure Santo got back ahold of you, but we got everything figured out for the shipping.

the w tec will be the worst bike youll ever ride unless your riding deep rutted sandy tracks every weekend. As for the first one. Its ok but the suzuki rm85 version is much better,
