2004 yfz 450 question ?

Looking at buying a 2004 yfz 450, can anybody tell me of any issues with these model, and what I should look for or at when I go look at the bike ?

I have an 04 limited edition and it has no problems so far..just dont leave them sitting for to long or you will be cleaning the carb over and over.:D

I keep hearing something about a oil mod/upgrade like the 07 yfz, have you done that ? What kind of riding do you do ?

I have not looked up the oil mod i have not had a problem yet so??I trail ride alot and mx...so its been rode hard...I just keep up with oil changes and maintenance

Here's the oil mod. It seems complicated. I have an 05 yfz450, but I bought it used so I have no idea if it's been done or not. It doesn't have any problems outside the ordinary "bog" at minimal throttle. No biggie. Just give it more throttle & that's that. Good luck to ya, bro.
