i guys new two the sight, i bought a trx250r 89 model, it has a .80 over bore, what cc does that mean it is?

According to my calculator, 261.586285714cc. You will need to use the .188 spacer plate and the 86 style piston for any more oversized pistons.

does the cylinder have any special port work done to it? if so, and you later need/want to go beyond the .080 and retain the 89 configuration. do a search on titan racing. he possibly may know of a remmy/piston alternate. :cool:

ok, what exhaust and silencer would you recomend for it, i have a fmf on now but its geting a bit nacked...

ESR would be my recommendation for a pipe.

just purchased a esr trx-5 pipe and silencer- brand new, will it fit on to my FMF flange? and would i nead to re-jet if it was alredy re-jeted for the FMF pipe?

Shouldn't have to re-jet, maybe off one size or two. Just make sure the exhaust flange doesn't have a restricter inside the flange. FMF used to supply those for people to install back with their older pipe versions, I'm not sure if they still do that.

I'd say they are average on loudness. If you want a better sounding motor I'd do a head modification and porting for race fuel and use a larger carb. That would also make it a little louder.

would you say i nead a KnN filter? or just stick with my twin air one? what sort of head mod, skim it, put a differnt one on?.....
