so far i have found noleen j6 dual rate kits, gt thunders dual rate kit and a works kit that i cant get info on. are there any other kits for the 450r shocks that you all know of? i want dual rates at least.

what are other companies that rework these shocks at a comparative price to gt thunder? if any.

thanks guys im trying something dif. i sold elkas to buy these, and i know they ride better but i want them redone so they ride way better.

i had the works triple rate springs, but they sent me the wrong spring rates for my +2 a arms. tri5ron has them now and he seems to be enjoying them with stock arms.

I put +2 arms on my wife's 400ex
and got some 450r front shocks
and sent them and the stock
400 rear shock to C&D racing
and that bike handles unreal now

The spring rates are 600/600/215.
My fully suited rider weight is 180-190 lbs.

I have not yet had the shocks revalved, and I'm not sure that it is completely necessary.
I have the preload set at Works prescribed setting, compression valve set to as soft as possible, and rebound a little less than mid way.

Seems to do very well for me, dosent pack up, dosent bottom out, dosent pogo, and soaks up everything I have thrown at them.

this includes hitting some bowling ball sized rocks at around 50 mph, and bending the bead on the front wheels on 2 different occaisions. But I still never got tossed off the quad.

that's plenty fine enough for me !

www.jet-motorsports.com did my shocks and I am very happy. He took time on the phone to talk too me and didn't blow me off like gt thunder did.
