I am bidding on a set of works dual rate w/ rezzies on ebay. I am a first year racer and I cannot spend a lot on shocks. So will these be just as good or close to the triple rates. I am racing cra and I will not be able to race full time, so would these be good enough.thanks

They are great for a budget racer...just make sure they are setup for your weight and the type of racing you will be doing!

Ok guys, new question, which would be better? Works triple rates w/o rezzies set up for motorcross, or the dual rates w/ rezzies? I am racing mx this year, but i am not racing full time, maybe a more than half the season. I wieght 155, these triple rates w/o rezzies are setup for a 175-200 lb rider.
thanks, chad

that the dual rate shocks have 2 springs and the triple rates have 3 so that they are harder to compress... i am not really sure....correct me if im wrong lol...

my cuz bought a pair for his 250r and they ride really nice and the landings are pretty smooth. he is a first time racer and on a budget... a rather big budget... he sold his polaris snowmobile to buy a lot of parts so...ne ways i think the shocks are exceptional for a first time budget racer...

Reseviors are meant to keep the shock cooler when you are putting them through the rigors of racing. Shocks without rezzies are subject to shock fade because of heat very quickly. I have triple rates with rezzies and they work great. If you plan to spend some money on suspension, do it right. It will be well worth it.

if you are running a longer a arm then stock then a 175-200 shock is more a like a 155-175 on a +1 and 145-165 on a +2

rezzies will help with fade, dual rate only have 2 rates and which the spring progress through as triple rate will progress through 3
