ok so im getting my first tattoo when i turn 18 next month. the question is idk what to get...

i would like something on my back that had my last name which also included my father in someway who passed away.

Garrand is my last name
Gary is his name or GJG for his initials.

im totally lost on how to do both but i really would like to. any thoughts?

or another though i had was just my plain last name on my upper back and a toyota emblem with his name incorporated somehow on my arm somewhere or in another spot since we owned a toyota franchise and became a big thing on our family

think long and hard about this tatts last longer than 60% of all marriages. I got one right after i turned 18 too. Of my 10 or so tats its my least favorite one.

think good and long on this idea.. I'm 20 and ill be gettin my first tat next month..it's one ive been thinking about for years though.. Im gettin "composure" on my back in some pretty cool lettering..I've had a anxiety disorder since i was little so its something i wanna try to live up to..It made sense in my head anyways lol

why is it that out of every tat post theres always one person who has to be a douche bag. if you dont like it dont post. pretty simple.

the tat is something ive thought about for a long time. planning it since i was 16 but recently wanted to do it with my dad in it since i just lost him a year ago.

I just got my family coat of arms done a couple weeks ago. I am 21 and it was my first, I thought about getting one for a few years, but i wanted to be sure about it before i got it.

me personally i think tattoos that have no real meaning to you or personal attachment to it are dumb. i hate people that get tattoos just to get them. just my opinion. i have 11 of them and my first couple are by far my least favorite. they have meaning to me but i didnt think them through

i don't really have any ideas for you, but i agree with everybody else. don't get a tattoo just because you can. get it because you want it and you know you'll want it 50 years from now too.

I am big on getting tattoo's that mean something special to that person.

My brother passed away and i got his name and the date that he passed on my right delt. Then i have RIP and his name going down my forearm in old english.


I plan on getting a kneeling angle i plan on getting on my back with his name at some point.


Whatever it is as long as you like it and it means something to you, then its well worth it.
