im not sure but i know its a works zps triple rate kit. i bought them off a guy on here for 175 shipped.

you could make it look alot better

take the motor mounts and beadlocks and thew oil tank off

paint the beadlocks and motor mounts with

duplicolor bed liner in a can
then metal specs silver
then metal cast red

and oil and in roll bar and chassie gloss black

it will look great and it wont chip at all!!!!!!!:D

ya it would give it a more clean look and do the headers in flat black high temp VHT paint is good up to 2.000 degress and with comlpete the red and black color scheme..:cool:

looking good, good to see another 400 going towards mx instead of trail/XC type, nothing wrong with XC or anything like it just gets repetitive seeing the same thing over and over. Im waiting on my new tires and wheels to come in so ill be posting pics up of mine shortly

if i can make a couple suggestions youll be alot happier with it...

toss the cheap clutch perch. you can get a MSR adjust on the fly for $30

oury grips pump your arms up like a mofo

and thro some of the cycra flag handguards on there their like $40

I dont race yet im hoping to maybe race a little bit this year in NEATV series in the C class.

The rims are only single beadlock i think hiper is the only brand that makes dual beadlocks.

hi dude maybe this is a stupid question but i see that you can only remove seat to reach the airbox on most quads. my seat is attached to the rear fender ! is this the it's suposed to be mounted? or do you have to mount the rear fender first to the subframe and then mount the seat ?

well you should have a seat latch and when you pull that up it will let you slide the seat off.. the 400ex have a seat latch in the back by your garb bar and if you pull up on that it lets you pull the whole rear fenders and seat off together and then you have access to your airbox.. i dont know if this helps you

the seat is supposed to be attached to the fenders. there is a lever in the back in the middle, right behind the taillight

i think i might try and customize mine so its like a 450r and have the plastics mounted to the frame some how and have the seat pop off. i think that would be a sweet thing to add to my already custom 400. its going to take some brain storming thou.

deff i will take pics the hole way. deff think it will take some time but it would be sweet to not have to remove the plastics. even thou it doesnt matter cuz i have a custom airbox and no battery to worry about when i put them on. just another project and somethen to do on a sunday.
