So today i installed new clutches and new clutch cable. I put it all together and i put it in gear while not running and tried pulling in the clutch to see and make sure it would roll forward, and it didn't. It acted as though it was still fully engaged in gear and made no difference when pulled in and i can see the clutch tab going fully forward when pulled in. please help going riding friday!

Make sure the rod that your cable is attached onto is hooked into the clutch push rod inside of the case. If it checks out ok then it probably just needs the cable adjusted. If the rod inside is off, your clutch handle should feel really free like there's nothing being pulled.

My clutch pin that my cable attaches to is going over the shaft inside and still not functioning.

yeah, over night like 12 hours or so. People say you dont have to, and just coat them with oil before you install is another way.

i will send you a picture, but most likely your clutch plates are wore out if it slips when you throttle it. give me your personal email so i can get those to you.

i just found some where on this site that the last fiber plate is supposed to be offset from the rest of the plates is this true that would be my problem?????????
