Anyways, ha. I have a 10/22 as well. Bone stock, probably built in the 70's. Amazingly great shape though. It's going to get a few mods in the near future as well. Great gun... perfect for building "your own" rifle.

No still wasting away in Manhattan. Spent all of 2008 in Iraq as a govt contractor. Trying now to get back over there, the money is too good and i loved the work.

So on the 10/22 side i was seeing books on converting the 10/22 to fully auto on ebay, would you know if there is any truth to this.

you can make em full auto but alot of times it runs away so if you ever try it watch out theres a good chance it will run the mag.

Watch out, there's a good chance of repercussions... if you build something full-auto without obtaining the proper Class of FFL.

You get caught, you're screwed.

actually yeah i do know a little bit about it, my neighbor bought a book like that off ebay and it didnt work. they sell kits that are the real deal, but you can also just file down the sear and it will do the same thing.

I built it about 14-15 years ago.
The stock is a ATI Fiberforce Dragonov style, available just about anywhere, the muzzle break is a Ncstar, the bipod is a Harris brand folding/telescoping , the magazine is a Ramline 25, the scope is a Bushnell Sportview variable 4-12x, scope mounts are Weaver see-thru's, flip-ups are Butler Creek.

Not shown in pic is recoil buffer, extended mag release, barrel mounted laser w forearm pressure switch, BMF activator crank, snap-on 2nd banana clip.
