Hey guys,
I'm installing my new axle in my 400 today. Upon disassembly, I discovered a metal shim. About 1/4" in width and >3" in diameter. I looked on the stock schematic for it and only for a part that was listed as "O-ring". The harder I look at this shim, the more convinced I am that it is home-made.
Does anyone that has torn the back-end apart recently recognize it?
(I apologize for the terrible pictures)

Thanks in advance
