500 Forman 08' oil

how many Qts of oil do you put in a foreman 500? My friend asked me and I knew where to come for the answer.:)

The owners manual states that you need 2.5qts of 10W-30.

Put 2 1/2 in it and crank it up and let run for 20 to 30 seconds somewhere in there shut off the machine and check the oil level (when checking oil level do not screw dipstick down) if low add oil. Repeat this a couple of times until oil level is right
