yes you can bore a 300ex cylinder,

there is no nikasil coating on the cylinder wall if thats your concern

well my atv is stock besides the itp rims but i am working on it still i am just racing it stock right now

well id start with a full exhaust system first, dont just do the slip on cause the stock header is restrictive

i wouldnt so much worry about the bore size, but maybe a fresh hone and a 11:1 (requires premium gas)

and if the cylinder needs bored id go maybe 80 over, a 300ex can really benefit from head work, such as port and polish. over sized valves. and a good cam (im not talkin about hot cams) but others require hd valve springs and hardweld rockers
