ok so you guys are going to think im a idiot but how do you change oil on the yfz450. Mines a 06 and is getting rebuilt so when i get it back i wanna know how to keep it clean. so were are the bolts to remove the oil or let it drain out? and also what are any other mantience tips?

There is a drain plug on the bottom of the oil tank (careful with that, the threads strip easy, dont over-tighten it) Then there is a drain plug on the motor , I believe its behind the shifter, but I sold my yfz a year ago and dont remember :D I highly reccomend pulling the oil tank off the quad and taking the allen head bolts out and cleaning the oil screens, they get built up with metal shavings and cause blockages resulting in low oil circulation throughout the motor. I have been running amsoil and love it, it stays clean forever and runs perfect. Its expensive but worth it if you like your motor.
