A good friend needs to sell this 250R to fund the rebuild on his seriously trashed '08 450R. It is being sold as a rolling chassis, no motor or carb. The pipe may or may not go with it, depends on final sale price. This is a Predator, or PRP chassis. It is the narrow chassis, and CR500 linkage. This was John Gallagher Sr's last 250R race quad, before he switched to the YFZ hybrid. I believe he won one of his championships on this very quad. Young Johnny can confirm the authenticity of this quad if needed, just so there is no doubt as to it's history.

Here's the specifics. Remember this is a rolling chassis, no motor or carb.

-PRP chromoly chassis, narrow front end with conventional spindels, CR500 linkage on rear. (linkage will need service)
-Chassis in excellent condition with no bends, cracks, or rewelds. Frame is painted, not powdered, and is starting to shed paint, so it will need to be refinshed.
-Antivibe stem, unknown brand, Pro Taper bars. Nac's stem clamp.
-Newer Works front shocks, set up for 200lb XC racer.
-Looks to be an Ohlins CR500 rear shock.
-450R rear brake set-up.
-Clarke oversize tank.
-Newer Maier plastic.
-0 to +2 rear axle, looks to be Lonestar.

Looking to get $1800 or best offer for the complete rolling chassis with stock Honda 450R wheels and tires (tires are worn).
The bead locks and Razr tires pictured have two rides on them and are for sale separately. $400 for all 4.

I would prefer local pick up on this, I really don't have the time to completely disassemble and ship.

Beadlocks and tires were purchased at the same time. Very nice condition.

Amazing, not one question regarding the quad. Not even a lowball offer.

The motor doesn't have that much time on it. It was rebuilt to be a back up quad. Has about 5 harescrambles on a new OEM long rod crank and the new 310 top end. The owner would like to hold on to the motor and carb. And after talking to him tonight, the bead locks don't get sold until the quad sells or they're sold with it. I should mention that another PRP frame will go along with this, but that one needs the a-arm mounts repaired on one side. $1600 firm takes it. I know there's much more there parted out, but we don't have the time to go through all of that.

Predator and PRP are 2 different companies.

Predator (I think they went by PRD) chassis are a identical copy of Laeger chassis. I remember a write up on these chassis, years and years ago. From what I understand they are top notch frames and hard to come by. I know JG (Jr & Sr) both ran them (obviously, lol)

I raced with the guys who built the Predator chassis, but I've seen the PRP name thrown around on here and assumed they were the same. You are correct, the Predator is an exact Laeger copy. This chassis has all the features of the Laeger and very good build quality, I'm surprised there isn't more interest.

I can't believe people are passing this up, I would buy it if I were closer.

I raced for Jeff and Bill on the MX side when I was in high school and worked at the shop to help pay for racing expenses. I was fortunate enough to help build Johnny's and Jeff Seegot's quads when they first debuted. Too bad things ended the way they did. These frames and especially the swing arms were very stout.
