ebay sucks, well not ebay, but the fox racing vero member.

im not suspended from ebay because of them.
ive been selling fox racing shirts for the longest time on there and i never had a problem, well this morning i wake up to find my account has been suspended. why? the fox racing vero member is trying to say im infringing on the product.. which i wasnt..

the first couple of times they canceled me i had 400ex in the title.. alot of people do that.. cuz if people search for 400ex on ebay the shirt will come up, hince more people see it.

i thought maybe it was that.. so this time i left it out.. and once again they *****ed to ebay saying i infringed... id liek to know how the **** i infringed.. my auctions were no different from the auctions that are on right now.

so i emailed ebay and had to see why those *********s keep doing that to me.

anyways sorry for *****ing but yelling the f-word wasnt working for me anymore...

What they mean is that you are selling a product that is copy righted and it seemed you were not re selling authentic ones most likely. I have know a lot of this since I do tons of custom embroidery. I will not do copy righted logo unless permission is given by the company. If they catch a business using a logo like that they can have your company shut down and al the equipment aken away which helped copy the product which mean you can lose 50,000 - 100,000 on just one machine if they take it.


It is definitly not worth it.

Now if you are selling there authentic stuff for too cheap brand new they may be worried about where you are getting it and that is why they have complained...

Nat it doesn't seem to me you are breaking any rules. I also buy and sell on Ebay all the time.

Lots of times they will stop you becuase of how you worded the item. Maybe it sounds to them like you are copy right infringing. (even though you are not.) I'd be pissed too.

yea something is up with ebay. i just got this letter now. it says they are charging me 40 dollars for my account from "fee's ". i have hardly been on it! its free to buy stuff and its .30 cents to sell stuff.i sold ONE item!!! whats up with that? im bishin them out now

Try selling Microsoft software on Ebay, Now that is tricky to do. :D

All I did was put a "Buy It Now" price on my Microsoft software and it gets sold before their rep ever finds it on Ebay.

Or you can add a piece of hardware to your item and that made it legal.:confused:

I have more problems lately with deadbeat users.

Try using the Buy It Now option. Don't sell to many shirts at a time.

Not every thing is $.30.

Depends on your starting price. Cars, ATVs and other high dollar items are more.

You need to be a licensed Reseller by Fox I bet,,,,,,,, Just like the Microsoft stuff ! Unless they say you can sell the product AS NEW your pretty much out of luck,, try putting in slightly used.

I tried looking up the Fox gear on e-bay and noticed that most of the people selling new stuff are Bike shops so there licensed I bet and try asking one of them and see what they say.

well finally after searching for hours on ebay, i found a email address for the fox racing vero team.

i emailed them with my items they repeatively canceled and they replied back and wanted to know where i bought the shirts and if i can discribe the shirt tags exactly to them.

so i replied back and gave them the info they wanted.. im just waiting to hear from them.

i also asked them if they will contact ebay and tell them i wasnt infringing so i can get my account back. so for now i just have to wait..

it just pisses me off that they could have emailed me and asked me the info about the shirts first before contacting ebay and getting my account fuct up.

so i just have to wait...

There is a few stores up here that sell imitation fox clothing, I actually have one of the shirts on now.
The only place that sells actual fox clothing are the quad dealers up here.

They shouldn't have charged your $40 for your sale of a rear sprocket! That's a fee reserved if you sell anything over $1,000. It's usually applied to all Motorcycles, Cars, Quads, etc. I've done alot of selling on ebay & never got charged the $40 because I've never sold anything over $1,000. Ebay states that your account won't get charged the $40 if you don't sell the advertised item. I'd definately complain if I were you!

yeah, they relisted my items with like 3hrs left, and it must have been during the night so i didnt know, so i couldnt cancel them.. so they got a really low bid. but its to late i already got rid of them. but what sucks is that i cant get a hold of the bidders because im suspended.. so ill probley get negative feedback.

but i just fax ebay a form so hopefully in about 3 days ill be back on.
