I built a track for my 5 yr old son to practice on. It's actually two tracks- a TT and an MX that can be run seperately or together, or it has several optional lanes so you can run several combinations of both. It's no Glen Helen, but it's great for my boy (and me haha) to practice on. It has hard pack clay sections, sand sections, big & small tables, big & small doubles, rollers, woops, off cambers, and some good elevation change (for Florida anyway) Here's a link to the slideshow....

I'm trying to add descriptions to the pictures, but I'm new to photobucket and posting stuff, so I'm still learning... LOL

Thanks for the compliments. No, it's not by Hard Rock, it's at my house- about 10 miles away. I did build that track next to Hard Rock though. ;) Maybe that's why it looks similar. This track is much bigger.
I am actually planning on having a mini ride day for the local kids to come out and ride. Hopefully some time in the next month or so? I purposely built the track to be mini friendly so my son and the other kids can practice, but not be intimidated. As he gets older I can change the track to make it more challenging. I've also got a lot more room for more track.... Don't tell my girlfriend! LOL
HAHA, I talked to good ol' Tim on the phone yesterday. He is supposed to bring his old self out here and check it out.

SWEET, you did a great job on that track, needless to say the tractor was OK after the mishap? My son likes the track flags, real nice touch!!!!

haha, yeah the backhoe was fine. Just a bruised ego and a lecture from my girlfriend LMAO
The flags serve a purpose. They keep my crazy little son on the track! LOL

Thanks! My next addition is some starting gates. Kids need to practine their starts.... LOL
I can't find any sitting around anywhere, so we're going to build a set I guess.
After that I can start on the next phase of the MX track & the XC loop through the woods..... haha
