i'd have to say my most wild catch was a 19'' hybrid bass out of a dam. well actually he caught me. i had two poles goin, while i was runnin my baitcaster. i had my spinner sitting on the bank with a piece of a hot dog on it sitting on the bottom. i just casted out and i hear the weeds moving. as soon as i look over i see the butt of my pole went into the water. i wasnt to happy becuase i had a 90$ pfluger reel on this pole so i had to get it back. after about an hour of me and 2 of my buddys tryin to snag the pole we got it! after i got the pole on the bank i pulled the line in, and there it was my first hybrid.

it was an awsome day cause they are not that common around here

I'm getting the itch to get back out .... can't wait for spring. I may do a little bit of ice fishing before then though.

A few catches from last year.

A moose we saw swimming across the lake moments after I caught the pike above.

I cant wait to get back out man. We had a 50 degree day last week and i really wanted to go for a few casts but the laske is frozen. Luckily, they didnt drain it this year though so pre spawn should be a blast

i know. we have had a few 40 degree days, which felt amazing compared to the low teens and single digits that were used too.

the ice was the only thing that stopped me from going, wish i had the money for a out of state license cause west virginia trout season starts next month.
