If he is it's not a factory ride. Yamah, Suzuki, Kawi, and Can Am have cut their teams back. Honda doesn't have a factory quad team.

Yamaha didn't have much of a showing, as they raced out of Thomas's rig. Suzuki will be back with two guys. Kawasaki is gone. Can-Am has not cut back, they just re-organized who is carrying the MX, and XC teams. Honda never had a "factory" team, and now they don't support our sport at all.

It sure would be hard to boycottthem also....they're just so much easier to get a ton of HP out of them and it's basicly the go to bike for privateers and a ton of amatures.

yamaha will not win, they dont have a chance. its funny how a old honda is just as good as this hi tech atvs. i think ltr and can am are going to be on top. chad is on fire on the can am, but the can ams have lots of dnf. and the ktm is soo good its not even racing lol.

That's a pretty bold statement....

I wouldn't go as far as saying that. Yeah, Yamaha hasen't had most success at the Nationals, but like every new bike out there, they get the kinks worked out of them. Someone out there has these(YFZR) figured out enough to be competative enough, not to mention that Thomas Brown was on fire at the begining of last season.

I have to agree about Yamaha not winning. I don't know why the YFZ did so great at the end of 2003 and 2004 and pretty much bombed after that.

However, I think Yamaha will win big-time in sales. Honda has, IMO, shown how ****ty their stuff really is when they don't make 2010 models because of leftovers. What a bunch of ****! Every wannabe racer and redneck hunter around here swore by Honda until recently and the hunters have turn more toward polaris. I bought the 04 model and, in stock form, was a joke. It didn't make any power past half throttle, had the worst shocks ever made, and I thought the grab bar was going to hit me in the back of the head with the linkage being so bad. I rank Honda up there with Chevrolet. They are REALLY going to have to pull something off to get my money again.

Blue all the way!!!

What I'm curious about out of the said racers is Nelson. DR.D had his YFZ's and YFZR's dialed in and now that he's with Motoworks I hope he is as successful..

well he is a test rider for yamaha...so im sure he can figure just about anything out!! Didnt take him very long with the new yfzr to get dialed...so minor changes shouldnt have much affect. Everyone has been commenting on the motoworks exhaust already...the only other changes that would affect performance would be the engine work and suspension....which im sure he will get dialed in.
