Yeah I grew up in Lakeland and I can remember the only snow day I got in Fl was in 1977, cancelled school and shut down everything. We had some other pretty good snows around 88 up @ hunting camp in ocala though.
Up here now in Mid TN we are 18 for the high, ice on all our backroads having to ride the rancher 14 miles to go feed cattle cause the trucks wont make the mountain safely. Man I want warm weather.
are those casts on your boy's arms???

LOL! no they aren't casts....just a long sleeve t shirt. Looks stiff because he's freezing his butt off! Not used to this cold weather here in Florida!

We had gotten just enough snow to scrape it off of our trampoline, make this snowman and a few snow balls to throw at each other.:)

I remember that day. I was 5yrs old then and had the time of my life running around in snow that was gone as soon as it hit the ground lol.

If it's going to be below freezing for a while you need to run your pool all night, to protect the pump and pipes.

We live close to Mt Dora and we didn't get snow however, we did get sleet for about 20min just enough to coat the pool screen. Definility not use to seeing this in sunny Fl!!!!

I got the same thing in Silver Springs. I got enough off the hood of my truck to make some snowballs and smack my girlfriend with them.
I thought it was funny..... LOL
