ok so i have a small pond by my house and i want to take the quad on it. last year i crashed through the ice where the water was about 2' deep and it was not fun getting it out. the spot i want to ride on is at least 5' and i dont want to break through. how much ice do i need?

I like at least 4-5 inches although less will hold you up.
