make your stock a arms wider?

I was wondering if some one couldnt cut there a arm in 1/2 and then take some tubeing the next size larger and silde the two 1/2s together and withen there a arms. not just welding in a 2" joint b/c that would be weak.

There was a guy in the 400ex forum that had a cr 500 motor in his 400ex he extended his a-arms himself do a search there under homemade a-arms and you should be able to find it

sorry it was " making your own a-arms" not homemade a-arms. might not be your make of quad but you might adapt his ideas to your quad
