clogged tank or petcock, be careful if you try to remove that petcock, ive heard the fasteners can round out easily.

Alright thanks. I guess I'll have to remove my front plastics to do this?

Damn. How hard is it to remove the plastics?

not hard, just make sure you plug all the wires back into the correct correlating colors, maybe 4 bolts (2 front, 2 rear) and 4 plastic fasteners above the tank...the tank is secured by 2 bolts up front, and 2 straps in the rear.

I've taken my plastics off before, and I am confused with the part about reconnecting wires. I didn't have to disconnect any of mine. I have an 07. Is that something to do with the old style headlight?

Yeah you can pop the plastic off in just a few minuets. No biggie.
Check the input line on the carb, pull the fuel line off and there is a small screen in the little tube where the fuel line plugs in.

On the carb side not the tank side.

Thanks. Do I still have to remove the plastics to check the input line?
