04 predator cuting in and out ?

my sons 50 was running fine and just stops and goes irratically. seems to me like a electrical issue not sure? it will rungood and die really fast then take back off many times any info thanks corey

I had a problem like that with a predator 90 a few years back. Turned out to be the teathered kill switch.

It just went bad internaly. You could jiggle the cord and make it cut out. I replaced it with an aftermarket one and had no more issues.
