when i turn my gas on it leaks out the front of it. i took it apart and cleaned it and it, but ti still leaks. is there anyway to rebuild it? is it the o-ring in maybe bad and causing it to leak? do i just need to find a new valve? has anyone else had this problem? thanks for the help.

i've dealt with this a time ur two myself. the one thing i do is to "lap" the face of the (4)-LEVER, VALVE- as you would the face of a cylinder head. i also "flip" the (6)-TUBE, FUEL- and make use of the other side but if it is worn on both sides then you may need to replace it aswell as the (9)-X-RING ..... i'm nawt sure if these parts are even still avail. anyone know for sure?

ok i pulled it apart again and put a very light coating of rtv or gasket sealer on the edge of the x ring and it stopped and left it on all day and hasn't leaked a drop. so i would say it has to be that ring. does anyone have the cut off that doesn't leak they would want to sell?

I would try replacing the rubber x-ring. A light coat of grease around it helps as well. It gets grit in there after a while and wears it out at worst, but at best just needs a cleaning and a little grease to slide against.
