Need 250R Seat

Hey folks,

I'm looking for a seat for an 87 250R. I'm not looking for mint OEM seat with mint cover. What I'd like to have is a seat with aftermarket cover (blue or black) or a seat with good foam needing a cover.

does that seat have new plus size foam or is it an extra layer that could be removed?

Just looks a little "plush" if you know what I mean. of course it may work well for a long day of riding.

Yea i won it off ebay. Just parting it out. I have no clue about the foam on the seat. I would say it is the desert foam.

I think I have what you need. $80 shipped for the black one or $120 shipped for the red. The red one is near mint and I think it was a direct factory Honda seat replacement for 1986-87 with the thicker 88-89 foam.

whats the diff from a 86-87 pan to a 88 seat pan.. i have a 88 do you have to do anything to convert a older seat pan on a newer bike?

86-87 has the front mounts you bolt on and the 88-89 has them built into the pan. Also the rear posts on the 88-89 are built into the pan...86-87 has a plate which has them on it already. But I believe they all work for all years.
