Predator-how much horsepower?

I do not have the slip but, my buddy bought his in MT and at that shop it Dynoed at 51.8 HP with the e-series pipe that polaris is selling.

I heard 44HP somewhere. According to that article in dirtwheels the stock predator is pretty d@mn fast.

Dirtwheels also said that Rath's mildly modified Predator was as close to a $15000 - $20000 full race quad as you could get. Sounds impressive but you can't believe everything the rags say. I do bet it hauls arse though.

check on www.sportquad.com i think there a dyno test and its something like 42hp, 6hp more that a raptor, great quad!!

the PREDATOR is suppose to have close to the POWER of a CDALE SPEED. But the raptor supposely took it in a DRAG so if that's the case its no where near a CANNONDALE. I'd say the PREDATOR pushes around 40HP stock. That's still AWESOME!! No way it has in the 50's. Thats insaine!

you could run mine on 50 octane gas and it would still smoke raptors :huh
...but it is VERY fast and strong..the bottom end doesnt have as much torque as a raptor but the top end rips...put it this way...i beat a banshee w/ fmf pipes, k&n, boost bottle and a durablue axle...that durablue made it ALOT faster:D, and the rider was expierienced and i beat him in 3 drags, but one he said i threw too much of a roost and he had to back down.. top speed, they were DEAD even, they were both wound out and neither one would pull away. thanks for the help guys. lata

that guys banshee must have been a POS. You put a PIPE on a SHEE and it will scream past a PREDATOR!! I like PREDATORS but there not as powerful as people make them out to be. 50 HP is alot and I don't see a PREDATOR having that kind of power

Like I said my buddy said it dynoed at 51.8 at the shop he bought it from, but we don't have a slip and I will not argue what I can't prove. All I know for sure is that thing is very fast.

they preadtor should have like 40 something but i weighs alot more thanmost bikes so it will be a bit slower

I read somewhere it had 52 hp at the countershaft and 45 hp at the rear wheels. :blah
