what kind of computer do you have? mine is a HP Pavilion dv7-1127cl what ever that means? that's my laptop, i'll have to see how my desktop compares later...

yes, lower the worse.

it says megabites a second, so the more you can download in a second, the better :p . same goes for upload

I have 20 meg down and 1 meg up. it is not too bad i guess most nights it is right around 18.5 meg now and .75 meg up. i use speakeasy.net for mine most of the time. steve

that is the time delay/lag in milliseconds(hopefully) between your home PC and the server PC on the other end.

the lower number, the better the connection.

It doesn't really matter what is done to the computer or what the operating system is. It matters how close you are to the hub. If you're far away then your connection is gonna be crappy.
