How many links were in the chain?

Was it a 14/38 sprockets?

not sure. I just pulled it off and the parts are in the garage where its freezing and I'm inside where its warm lol. The houser appears to be just under 22 inches from the front to the back of the carrier housing.

A quick measurement of my stock '04 is 21 from the front edge of the swinger to the very rear where the clamping bolts are. To the back of the bearing housing was about 20.5 inches.

Hope that helps.

Is it a older swingarm? If it only has one linkage mount, it is. Houser has never made a stock length swingarm for the 04/05 450R's to my knowledge, they all were plus 1 1/4". If it is a newer one, it should have two linkage mounts. If it does have two mounts, then it is a plus 1" for the 04/05's. I am not sure if Houser has ever made a stock length swingarm for any year 450R.

Then it is a plus 1" on a 04/05, or plus 3/8" on a 06-09. I believe that is the only swingarm they have ever made with the dual linkage mounts.
