View Full Version : PEP Dampener Mounting

I bought a PEP dampener from 312R1.
It seems to me I am missing a bracket. One end is mounted to the steering column and the other is mounted to the (extended) top engine mount bolt on the right side. (sitting on the bike)
This works except the dampener body bumps the tank and I don't have full steering range going to the left. I know this is a big favor but does anyone have a picture of a PEP mounted in their frame?

Thanks again
Doug

i mounted mine one clamp to the stem other to my right motor mount and it clears no problem.

I'll post pics later after work.

When i mounted my dampener, stick style, i just used washers to hold the dampener away from the frame. I mounted the arm on the steering stem on the right side also.

Where could I buy the PEP damper new? Is it common to run TWO dampers in an MX setting, or will one suffice?
