400ex wrist pins

Why do so many 400ex's have worn out wrist pin hole in the rod. i have worked on a few that have a ticking and thats always the problem? any fixes. mabey in the new rod drill a hole to get the pin extra oil.

Taper the in side of the hole.It will cause a small pocket of oil.The problem is first start up.

No sorry.Ran into this probem with mine.Been building engines of all kinds for years.And used this idea from a chevy design.solved the problem.
