you said Custom trucks. these are about as CUSTOM as it gets

01-21-2003, 10:28 AM
this isn't quite a truck but is very custom. it has no engine. it drive and steers with hydraulics. so it's pretty much a lifesize RC car

there was a truck at the car show I was at this weekend. This thing was awesome. it was a 99 f 350 with a 20in. lift and 39in. tires. it had a badas$ paint job. He said he had around $105,000 into it. I wish I could got a pic but I forgot the camera.

well i guess you cant beat free..........but you also missed out on what i think is the most fun.............making it totally yours from the ground up;) :D But i guess that is just me.

That is a nice truck but i do prefer the short wide bed.

yeah i like the short beds too but when you don't have to pay anything you don't really care. i like having the long bed but the short does look better. i'm sure your truck will be awesome when its finished.

mine has a 350 v8 in it. the 327 should be good and get better gas mileage. mine only gets 11 or 12. thats not very good.

I've got a 77 stepside Dodge with a 440, built 727 torque flight, running through 3.23s and it gets 10mpg. 7mpg when it needs a tune up.
