hey guys i know its been brought up a thousand times before but wanted to see what jetting i should be running fo my uni-airfilter and big gun slip-on my elevation is around 1500-2000 ft were i live in ny any input is appreciated.. also i have a t-4 slip-on before and ran stock jetting with no problems not sure if it was jetted before? also what pilot and clip position

well the stock jet is a 143 main.....i running a 145, i would like to run a 146 but i dont have it....the 145 is going just fine with my big gun full pipe and no toil filter

ok i was reading somewhere a 148 was stock.. ill pop in my 145 and see how it does than thanks man

hows your spark plug look? maybe post up a pic. and btw, stock is 148 main, 38 pilot, 3rd groove from the top on the needle, 2 1/4 turns out on the pilot screw.

i didnt even put the pipe on because i was worried about blowing it up so i guess maybe ill order a 152 tomarrow from work and see how it runs?

im sure youll get it dialed in, spend 3 bucks and get a new spark plug for reading purposes when you get your jets. post up a pic of your plug after you ride it...your not gonna get a proper reading just letting it run in the driveway or garage.

are u sure its 148? i was al most certain it was 143?

ok so i did some reading around, and from what i read the jetting changed in the new models......04- down models used a 143 main jet and 05 and higher models used a 148 main jet

well mine came with a 143 in it....and i dont no y someone would have down jetted it

I looked through the sticky's and I think it would be good to have the carb specs like what was posted above along with other stuff like which needle, manufacturer of the carb and model #, not sure if anyone has info like that but it would maybe help when people go to places like jetsrus

well i went to the local dealership today and bought a 150 main because they didnt have the 152 and i already have a 42 pilot that i plan on puting in i know i have to do a plug chop on it but i need to buy the damn wrench because without it its impossible to get the plug out when i do the run ill post pics of the plug thanks everyone:D
