ltz400 years compatibilty

hey guys easy quick question. Will a 2003 bottom end motor work with a 2007 ltz400?

The clutch assembly is different from 03-04 to 05-08. As far as I know the top ends are identical.

so would a botteom end swap on to a 07 work with some simple modification?

if ur buying a complete bottomend it will work fine.

thats the answer I wanted to hear. But after some research and putting the pieces together, (rebuild kit works for all years, also pistons so....) I concluded it was. Nice to get it verified thanks!!
