cant get axle nut loose!!! HELP!

okay so my berrings are done and i need 2 change them but i cant get my axle nut loose. whitch way does it need 2 turn???????

Yes, down if you are in the back. If your nut hasn't been adjusted much, apply some heat.

Have someone sit on the bike and hold the rear brakes while u jump on the wrench/bar.
Some times those things get stuck good.

Little heat can help too, some WD-40 or Liquid Wrench too. Just don't light it on fire with the torch.
