i have a yellow 400, and im taking some things apart to clean up and redo bearings and bushings etc over the winter break. What do you guys think about a yellow plastic, blue subfame, blue hubs, and blue bottom a-arms and black top a-arms? just wondering if anyone thinks would look half decent or for any other ideas. I'm trying ot go cheap as possible too! haha

Sounds like you have a good plan laid out. Blue and yellow go perfect together!

but what about new rear rims that "dent" looks like it might be letting air leak out... any problems with keeping them properly inflated? jw

Blue and Yellow are an odd color combination. Its something you see on a sports team. Why not blue and white, or blue and gold or gunmetal.

yeah, that dent is from some goofball in a yahamho rhino. I was coming around a berm and I was going decently fast and he was coming from the opposite direction FLYING haha. I'm pretty sure he had a few beverages prior to this. His bumper or somehting hit my rear wheel and dented it, so i actually bought a set of rear wheels off craigslist for 30$ so it wasnt too bad.

To ATL josh: I would love to go with blue and gunmental or blue and black, but i already have yellow plastics and i dont want to have to buy new ones, i might get those gray maiers at some point, but for now its just gonna be yellow plastics with some other accent color...

i agree that it would like like something off a sports team though, which kinda makes me question it.

seems like the plastics protect a lot of parts that would otherwise get damaged... i like the look because its different, and the black is sickk but no. lol. reminds me of a streetfighter motorcycle.

yeah i defintley want plastics on at all times, i don't even consider the whole "Race Cut" idea. I ride just about everyday when i'm home from college and i don't like getting covered in mud lol. I'm thinking about just painting everything semi gloss black for now lol. Black goes good with everything.
