Waiting for new HMF

Hey guys,

Anybody else getting the new 2010 HMF Competition series exhaust?

I wasn't planning on it but ordered one up yesterday to replace my older HMF perf. series. HMF gave me a great trade in deal on it.

Can't wait!

ya i have been thinking about getting one. have u heard anything about it. Is it as loud as the older ones

I talked with the guy who is building mine and he said they were going for a quieter HMF product and they found that they achieved that with this line but also found more power and torque.

It has three levels you can choose to run...

The Trimax Core will feature 3 stages of power and sound. Stage 1 uses an insert that restricts sound levels extensively yet produces industry leading power at the approved dB level. Stage 2 uses a different sound altering insert that partially lowers dB sound levels without losing the power increase gained in Stage 3. Stage 3 acts as an unrestricted core producing high dB levels with industry leading power throughout the entire RPM range.

how much they getting for it was thinking of the curtis sparks but may have to change my mind also do you know if there is any comparisons on hp gains over other systems:confused:

Wrapped the inlet pipe and sprayed it with hi-temp silicone before I installed. Will have to trim the fender slightly, can't tell if it is hitting because of my new nerf bars or the angle of the pipe but needs about 1/4 inch of trimming to fit. Using the intermediate silencer for now, nothing like the smell of fresh packing!!!
