what are you guys doing for steering stem bushings. I checked out housers site, but they wanna charge 16 bucks to ship 4 bushings. I may just have to go that route, but will others fit? I guess I just gotta suck it up and take it huh...

A lot of time, on the Housers, the actual stem wears down. On Honda 450s, they use a smaller tube than factory, and use a step up part, that wears quicker.

i guess i'm not understanding what you're saying. I need the rubber bushings that go in the head of the stem.

hes saying that the houser stems are known for wearing down around that area....I personally never heard of that, but I have never owned a houser product so I do not know.

The burgards also use a small diameter stem which require a different bushing so I would say that you need to stick with the houser bushings. Try packing it with grease for the time being and then just order it from C&D next time you get parts.

You can also use CRF Honda dirtbike handle bar rubber bushings which is what I believe they are using
