I'm interested in finally picking up a skid plate, but keep getting bad vibes about having to take them off and on for oil changes. Who's got a good one that allows an oil service without removing the armor?

I have a PRM. It has drain holes in it for the engine and oil tank. I don't take it off for oil changes. Only problem I've had with it is I had to cut clearance slots in it so the grease fittings on my a-arms wouldn't hit it and so I could grease them.

I have ricochet skid plates are really like them. They have the holes for the oil tank and engine drain too. The rear skid plate is really diesel too,.

I like the Pro Armors but read reviews that said they had to be removed for oil changes. I'd get them if someone would tell me otherwise.

I have a Pro Armor skid and it has holes for oil drain. If they don't have any just drill your own

just get whichever ones you like or find the cheapeast, then drill a hole in it if you need to.
