WTB...... APEX Oversized Gas Tank

I have been trying to find one for our DRR but no luck. We run XC and we are going to have to stop for fuel if we run more than 30 min. If you find one or get someone to build on let us know.

You should be able to go between 40 and 45 minutes. We do it regularly in the WORCS series running a big 28mm carb on heavily modded motors. We run of the bottom pickup off the tank to get all the fuel possible. We run DRR's so not real sure if the tanks are the same size as Apex?

The GNCC races are usually a min of 60 minutes and can be longer depending on where you are. 50 minutes on a stock Apex 90 is stretching it on most of the tracks.

your right, 60 minutes we would be walking back. Luckily we only have to do 40-45. But we have to do it 3 times a weekend.

My son did 1 hour and 19 minutes on his DRR at the GNCC Steele Creek race. With alittle gas left over.

old school trick was to use heat (almost boiling hot water ) to warm the plastic & use compressed air to expand tanks .. it was done in steps sort a speak
wonder if someone would want to try that ..

Alright you guys......where are all the master fabricators? Can't believe nobody wants to build me one. :ermm: though I'm sure it's no easy task.

we have also run XC 50-60 mins with a DRR 90 , DRR,50 and Apex 90, never ran out of gas>

My son runs a predator 90 with a Hetrick national motor that has a 54mm cyl. and his bike will only run 32 to 35 min.max if I fill the tank all the way to the cap just before he gets the green flag.
