Painting Chevy Bowtie?

Anyone tried to paint the bowtie on their chevy? Is there a special paint i need, do i need to sand it? suggestions?

No, just scuff it down, clean it, and make sure its smooth. paint a few coats then clear it, i did it on my truck! its a great way to make your ride look better!

ok, thanks for the information, now i just need to figure out what color, blue or red....i have a blue truck

Go with the same color as your truck! :D
