My 7yo daughter is basically unable to shift up into 2nd gear while racing her Typhoon. It was great, at the race this weekend, she raced the first lap in first and was battleing with her closest rival all lap. She stopped after the scoring chute and I shifted it into 2nd and she walked off and left her competition easily.

I was thinking a heel-toe shifter would be the solution for her. Anybody know where to buy one of those that will work on the Typhoon.

I would think almost any toe heel shifter would fit as all the shafts are basically the same same size. Try ebay

I couldn't find one so I made one by shaping and reinforcing rebar and welding it the shifter. My son used it for 2 hours and then said, "I don't need it anymore. Thanks Dad." It took 2 hours to build it just perfect and 10 seconds to cut if back off. Little punk!

I found one for a Honda 400/450R, anyone know if the shaft is the same size as the Typhoon 90?

I have two extremes and both my boys had trouble shifting so I found them on a sccoter site can't remember wich one though. Both boys like using them and they work well.
