What is the eye-eye dimension of the factory rear shock on the 88/89 250r?
I'm looking at a nice fresh PEP rebuilt rear, 175-195 MX, but it's off of a Leager chassis and is 18.5" eye to eye. Something has me thinking that the factory shock is slightly shorter. It's a ZPS and I really only ride XC type terrain; would it even be worth considering? I've read a bit on zero preload, but am still a bit unclear.
