View Full Version : What kind of brake pads and how do i know if my brake pads are gone?????

I just got back from riding today and my brake pedal is starting to become easy to push down and it doesn t have the same stopping power as when i got it. I s this normal or should i get new brake pads?????


What type of brake pads do you guys , gals recommend for the rear brake ????

You might have air in the system, check for leaks or tears in the brake lines. If the brake lines check out o.k., bleed the brakes. On each the front and rear calipers, there is a little arrow that points to a line on top of the caliper. That will tell you the condition of your brake pads. When it comes time to replace your pads, try EBC's Severe Duty.

BTW--It will say Indicator on the inside of the caliper.

If your rotor is scrathed and/or you hear any scarping noises from that area. I am really happy with my brakes pads from marcums (look at my signature)

Honda break pads are the best, they stop good and wear better than anything out there.
just like there clutches
