I bought my 2007 400ex new as a left over in 09, when i push it and turn the wheels i feel some what of a binding, not noticible when riding, no noises, but hard to push when turning. My friend has a 400z and that dosen't happen, any way to add something to fix it, adjust something to fix it?

That’s caused by the solid axel. Let me guess it pushes fine in a strait line?:huh
Yep that’s normal.

There are lots of factors that could cause more or less resistance:
-- Tire tread design
-- Tire pressure
-- Tread compound
-- Alignment
-- Surface the quad is rolling on (dirt vs. pavement)
Increased resistance is normal with a solid rear axle, so if everything is adjusted correctly and at the right pressure, it may just be different tires or the rolling surface.

If you have everything set up correctly you should be able to push it with one finger. That is on a flat surface and in a strait line. Once you turn the front wheels it will seem to bind up. But that’s normal. :D
