Im wondering if it would be a good idea to put a sparks +6 key on my 400ex. My performance mods are
Stock bore 10:1 wiseco piston
Stage 1 hotcam
Supertrapp slip on
Uni filter w/ no lid
TC Racing engines revbox

I would say if you run 91 or higher you will be fine. i am not sure on the rev box though, i dont believe that it makes teh timing advance though so you should be good to go. steve

Yea I never run anything lower than 93oct. Only reason I was wondering was becuase it said not to be used on high compression not that 10:1 is much higher than stock though.

you should be ok. If you get excessive heat pull the rev box

10:1 compression and a sparks key will NOT be safe on pump gas.

Yea I know that but I was just asking because sparks say only use on stock compression but I have 10:1 which is not much higher.
